The Altair 2XP X-Cell Pulse Technology Gas Detector provides a bump test that is so easy to follow, anyone can do it, from anywhere! By combining pulse sensor interrogation with a simple flow check, MSA has created the first successful stand-alone bump test. Pulse sensor interrogation begins, exhale into the unit. And the result? You’re bumped! Visual indicators on the detector make verification of bump test easy, high visible green light (green light, check mark) and flashes red when not bumped. This specific gas detector contains a “glow” feature.
